I can’t tell you how sorry I am to have had to cancel last night’s concert in Saskatoon. I had a nasty bug in my throat and though I tried all day to get myself ready and able to sing I just couldn’t sing up to the standard we both would expect. I apologize for robbing you of a much needed night out. I also lament not being able to present this show with my band, my sons and Barney Bentall. We have had an amazing musical ride so far.
I appreciate your understanding. I will do whatever I can to make it up to you so stay tuned.
Thank you all,
It was announced this morning that Jim Cuddy has been selected as recipient of the 2018 MusiCounts Inspired Minds Ambassador Award, which recognizes those who have impacted music education in Canada.
Speaking of the honour, Jim said, “In giving kids a love of music from an early age we are teaching them to appreciate music, and by extension, all art, throughout their lives. I am so proud of MusiCounts and the important work they do.”

Three time Olympians Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir captured the gold medal for Ice Dancing at the Pyeongchang Games last night. To mark the occasion, CBC has put together a retrospective of their record-breaking career, soundtracked by “Pull Me Through” from Jim’s 2006 album, The Light That Guides You Home.
