Jim will be joining Canadian Pacific Holiday Train again this year. He will be on the train from November 25-30, performing at stops along the way.

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is travelling across Canada and the United States for the 19th year raising money, food, and awareness for local food banks and hunger issues. Every pound of food and dollar raised at each stop stays with the local food bank to help feed those in need in that community. In some communities, the money and food raised from the train’s stop is the main fundraiser for the next 12 months.

Jim will be at the LCBO’s flagship Summerhill location in downtown Toronto this upcoming Sunday for a wine-tasting and bottle signing event for his new wine!

Jim  recently lent his voice to narrate an eight-part documentary series, premiering tonight at 9pm on TVO.

Good news for wine lovers and Jim Cuddy fans alike: Cuddy by Tawse will be available at the LCBO starting September 17th! 

To mark the occasion, Jim Cuddy will be doing a bottle signing and sampling at the Summerhill LCBO in Toronto on Saturday from 11am to 1pm. Read more about the excellent pairing between Tawse Winery and Jim in LCBO’s Vintages.

Tawse Winery — producer of the recently introduced Cuddy by Tawse — has been recognized as Winery of the Year at the National Wine Awards of Canada. Congrats to everyone at Tawse!

The Jim Cuddy Band has added a new show, September 17 in Niagara Falls, ON at the Scotiabank Convention Centre!

On June 27, Jim will perform at Toronto’s Roy Thompson Hall for #BackFortMac – a benefit concert in support of the citizens of Fort McMurray. All proceeds will go directly to the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Fires Appeal.

The Devin Cuddy Band, Lovelocks, Colin Mochrie and many more great Canadian artists will also participate in this special event. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 3.

Jim has teamed up with Tawse Winery to develop their newest brand, Cuddy by Tawse! This new label was born from a longstanding partnership between Jim Cuddy and the winery, and a desire to fuse his two passions: music and wine.

“After many years of drinking great wine, it’s been my good fortune to work with Tawse and actually create some,” says Cuddy of the first release that includes a Chardonnay and Cabernet Merlot blend. “I’m very proud of the two new Cuddy Wine varietals we are presenting and hope that people enjoy tasting the wine as much as we enjoyed making it.”

The Jim Cuddy Band will head to Edmonton, AB on Friday, May 27 for the Benefit for Full Day Kindergarten presented by Riverbend Junior High School. Tickets can be purchased here for the event which takes place at the Citadel Theatre.

Riverbend School has chosen to support the Edmonton Public Schools Foundation and its priority of providing full-day Kindergarten programs for socially vulnerable children. The building blocks for learning happens in the Kindergarten classroom and an entire day of learning will help these children as they get ready for Grade 1 and life.

On June 2, Jim will join John Mann (Spirit of the West) for a few songs at Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern for The Spirit of John, a benefit concert in support of the Alzheimer Society’s Music Project. Molly Johnson, Royal Wood, Tom Wilson (Black and the Rodeo Kings) and many more will also perform. Tickets can be purchased through TicketFly.

The Alzheimer Society’s Music Project provides personalized playlists and iPods for people living with dementia in Toronto. Concert-goers will be participating in the first ever Fund A Need, which aims to raise enough money to supply iPods for a month!
