The first electric guitar I ever bought was a Taro Telecaster copy that cost $139 and took me about 3 months to pay off. When I was 14, I started working in a music store part time in Hamilton, Ontario. It was the best education I could ask for in starting out. Just hearing the sound of an electric guitar through an amplifier mesmerized me and the power it wielded was, and still seems, incredible. I can't imagine not having one around. Guitars and their music, one of the best things to ever happen for me.
